I’m a student digital content creator based in Rochester, New York.
I grew up in Puerto Rico, a place that inspired creativity and imagination. My enthusiasm for content creation leads me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Studies at the University of Rochester. During my first year in college, I co-founded a local digital marketing agency, named Digitized Central Promotions, along with a friend from high school as a “pandemic project” to support local businesses through low-cost social media advertising.
After uplifting business owners through effective digital marketing efforts, I realized creating content for everyone was for me.
As sophomore year took off remotely, I looked for similar experiences and was hired by a second digital marketing agency named Wahi Digital Marketing based in San Jose, California to drive SEO content strategy, social media copy, SMS marketing, email marketing campaigns, and website copywriting projects.
This was for me! So last summer, I interned at a local non-profit in Rochester, called Writers & Books, too.
Now, as junior year kicks off, I have volunteered to manage social media accounts for a couple of student organizations on campus such as The Puerto Rican Student Organization, Polaris International, and the Student’s Association Government.
When I’m not creating, I am typically outside either running, roller skating, or rowing along the Genesee River. The latest book on my shelf is Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. As an ambitious long-life student, I will explore the art of film and photography in Spain next semester.
Stay tuned!
